Tekmar secures deals with £1.5m with projects in the Middle East

Tekmar has announced new contracts

Subsea equipment firm Tekmar has announced a number of awards with customers in the Middle East worth more than £1.5m.

The Darlington company, which provides technology and services for the global offshore energy markets, will deliver specialised offshore grouting services in partnership with EPIC (engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning) contractors.

The projects are with existing customers based in the Middle East, which the company said demonstrates the value of the technical support that the group can offers, and the strength of its relationships. Tekmar said its grouting capabilities are an area of strategic focus and growth for the group, following a period of investment in the service line.

Work on the projects has started and is expected to be completed in the current financial year. Earlier this year Tekmar has announced the appointment of Richard Turner as CEO, bringing to a conclusion a multi-year strategy to stabilise the £40m revenue business.
